ABOUT THE TEAM

ERINN DEARTH is the creator, founder and choreographer of Letters From Home. As an actress and producer, Erinn has worked on 250+ theatrical productions up and down the east coast and has toured with Cirque Productions. She is a published author, and founder of First in Flight Entertainment and the NC Triad Theatre League. Erinn is also the founder and Executive Director of the youth-inspired Spring Theatre in Winston-Salem, North Carolina which is currently in it's 11th season of producing live theatre, classes and camps. During the pandemic, alongside Dan Beckmann, she produced a socially-distanced film called “Lock-In” with 100 cast members filming all over the world in quarantine. She loves dogs and takes care of them in all of her spare time (even though her favorite animal is definitely a hamster). You can catch her and Dan on their online talk show, and you can keep up with all of their endeavors big and small on www.erinnanddan.com. Erinn would like to send an enormous air-hug to anyone who’s reading this, and would like to encourage everyone to spread love and joy whenever and wherever they can!

DAN BECKMANN is an actor, singer, director, writer and photographer from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He holds a BFA in acting from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and is a member of Actor’s Equity Association. Addicted to laughter from an early age, Dan has been entertaining since he could first make noise, and eventually made it his career to to collaborate with with Tony-nominated directors and Broadway legends on regional and Off-Broadway productions, concerts, national tours, cruise ships and international venues across the globe. To date, Dan has had the pleasure of performing on 6 out of 7 continents (looking to put a shrimp on the barbie ASAP, mate). Dan is the Artistic Director of Spring Theatre in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he works alongside Erinn Dearth creating opportunities for youth in the community. In the past few years, Dan has developed an obsessive passion for photography, and now has his own business (creatively named Dan Beckmann Photography.) The pandemic led Dan into the world of editing, filmmaking, and audio engineering, bringing him to create two socially-distanced films, several digital concerts and music videos, and myriad other projects from the quiet seclusion of his own bat cave. He owes everything he has to the support of his wonderful family and to ADHD. www.ErinnAndDan.com

MYRA MILLER (50-States Tour Road Manager) of Footsteps Researchers LLC, Myra Miller PhD (St. Louis, Missouri) and her global team provides archival research and European battlefield tour services, specializing in WW2. Their mission is to discover the history of veterans and retrace their footsteps for families who want to find out the role their loved one played in the Second World War. Myra and her four siblings produced the two-volume series Soldiers’ Stories: A Collection of WWII Memoirs - Volume I and II (2018 and 2020) over 300 stories of American men and women who helped win the war. Myra’s work spread from print to film where she was asked to provide research assistance in Dear Sirs (2022), They Won’t Die Twice (2022), The Girl Who Wore Freedom (2020), and the Oscar-winning Best Documentary Short, Colette (2020). She produced the WW2 documentary The Ghost Plane of LaFosse (2020) based on her team’s research of a B24 plane crash that happened on Christmas Day of 1944 in Belgium. For the past two years, Myra has served as Executive Producer on the award winning historical fiction film, Reveille (2023). After contracting with Letters From Home for an 83rd Infantry Division Association reunion in 2017, Myra invited the duo to perform for the 83rd Infantry Division – Thunderbolt Festival in Normandy, France the summer of 2019. It was especially powerful being with Erinn and Dan on Omaha Beach at sunset on June 6th of the 75th Anniversary of D-Day where they helped unfurl a large American flag while singing the National Anthem. It was only natural for the two to follow Myra this past May 2022 to The Netherlands and Belgium as they performed for nine WW2 veterans and their families as they toured European sites and battlefield areas. It is with great pride that Myra joins Letters From Home as Road Manager for the 50-state tour!

GRACE REASONER (50-States Tour Stage Manager) is a playwright, actor, and stage manager based in Chicago, IL. She recently received her BA in Acting and Playwriting from Columbia College. This past October her play Pillars of Salt premiered in Chicago as the Columbia College Playwriting Senior Showcase. Grace is also a winner of the New South Young Playwrights Contest at Horizon Theatre in Atlanta, GA. You can find her play How She Loves in the University of Greenwich Anthology, Evergreen. Grace is so excited for the opportunity to travel and work with Letters from Home. She looks forward to celebrating her birthday in Alaska in April!

Tyler Zickmund (50-States Tour Assistant Stage Manager) has enjoyed being a part live performance for most of his life, whether it was performing while growing up in Mocksville NC, or more recently at college where he was a stage manager for a variety of main-stage and student productions. Additionally, he’s a lover of all things technology, having completed his B.A. from Brown University in Computer Science. Tyler is excited to combine these interests while on tour with Letters From Home using technology to support performance and to add “Lights person” (title is a work in progress) to the list of Performer and Stage Manager! In his spare time, Tyler likes to bind books, collect cassettes, and code things like this website: tzickmun.github.io which is a great way to get in touch! Special thanks to friends and family for all of their support along the way.
