MYRA MILLER (50-States Tour Road Manager) of Footsteps Researchers LLC, Myra Miller PhD (St. Louis, Missouri) and her global team provides archival research and European battlefield tour services, specializing in WW2. Their mission is to discover the history of veterans and retrace their footsteps for families who want to find out the role their loved one played in the Second World War. Myra and her four siblings produced the two-volume series Soldiers’ Stories: A Collection of WWII Memoirs - Volume I and II (2018 and 2020) over 300 stories of American men and women who helped win the war. Myra’s work spread from print to film where she was asked to provide research assistance in Dear Sirs (2022), They Won’t Die Twice (2022), The Girl Who Wore Freedom (2020), and the Oscar-winning Best Documentary Short, Colette (2020). She produced the WW2 documentary The Ghost Plane of LaFosse (2020) based on her team’s research of a B24 plane crash that happened on Christmas Day of 1944 in Belgium. For the past two years, Myra has served as Executive Producer on the award winning historical fiction film, Reveille (2023). After contracting with Letters From Home for an 83rd Infantry Division Association reunion in 2017, Myra invited the duo to perform for the 83rd Infantry Division – Thunderbolt Festival in Normandy, France the summer of 2019. It was especially powerful being with Erinn and Dan on Omaha Beach at sunset on June 6th of the 75th Anniversary of D-Day where they helped unfurl a large American flag while singing the National Anthem. It was only natural for the two to follow Myra this past May 2022 to The Netherlands and Belgium as they performed for nine WW2 veterans and their families as they toured European sites and battlefield areas.
